Sorority at work

What does it looks like being a women in India? In Chennai, I worked with the NGO Siragu who provides a work platform in tailoring for disadvantaged women. After marriage, women have to leave their job to take care about children and home. Thanks to the NGO, women can escape their housewife condition. In a local based in a slum, I met three workers: Rani, Ayisha and Vennila. They shared with me their experiences and the issues they have to face on. I discovered their daily life through their family, religion and leisures. This is how Indian sorority works.
